Halo: Combat Evolved

Bent on Humankind's extermination, a powerful fellowship of alien races known as the Covenant is wiping out Earth's fledgling interstellar empire. Climb into the boots of Master Chief, a biologically altered super-soldier, as you and the other surviving defenders of a devastated colony-world make a desperate attempt to lure the alien fleet away from earth. Shot down and marooned on the ancient ring-world Halo, you begin a guerilla-war against the Covenant. Fight for humanity against an alien onslaught as you race to uncover the mysteries of Halo.

Halo 2

Halo 2 is the sequel to the highly successful and critically acclaimed Halo: Combat Evolved. In Halo 2, the saga continues as Master Chief—a genetically enhanced super-soldier—is the only thing standing between the relentless Covenant and the destruction of all humankind.

Halo 3

Halo 3 is a shooter game where players primarily experience gameplay from a first-person perspective. Much of the gameplay takes place on foot, but also includes segments focused on vehicular combat. The balance of weapons and objects in the game was adjusted to better adhere to the "Golden Triangle of Halo": these are weapons, grenades, and melee attacks, which are available to a player in most situations. Players may dual-wield some weapons, forgoing the use of grenades and melee attacks in favor of the combined firepower of two weapons. Many weapons available in previous installments of the series return with minor cosmetic and power alterations. Unlike previous installments, the player's secondary weapon is visible on their player model, holstered or slung across the player's back.
Halo 3 introduces "support weapons", which are cumbersome two-handed weapons that slow the player, but offer greatly increased firepower in return. In addition to weapons, the game contains a new class of gear called equipment; these items have various effects, ranging from defensive screens to shield regeneration and flares. Only one piece of equipment can be carried at a time. The game's vehicular component has been expanded with new drivable and AI-only vehicles.

Halo Wars

The Covenant has declared war on humanity, and Harvest is the first battleground. Set 21 years before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo Wars is an exciting real-time strategy game set in the legendary Halo universe. In this unique installment in the Halo franchise, players experience the epic battles that marked the beginning of the Covenant War. With the UNSC Spirit of Fire at their disposal, players fight in the intense and enormous conflicts that would define humanity's relentless heroism in its darkest hour.

Halo 3: ODST

New Mombasa is in ruins, yet the fight is far from over. Halo 3: ODST drops players onto the streets of the besieged city in this first-person shooter. Assume the role of “The Rookie”, an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, and discover the truth behind the Covenant invasion. Halo: Reach

Experience the story before the events of Halo: Combat Evolved as you fight to defend the planet Reach from a harrowing Covenant invasion. In this first-person shooter you can customize your own Spartan with armor and accessories to experience both a pulse-pounding campaign and addictive multiplayer mode. Reach will fall, but it won't go down without a fight.

Halo 2: Multiplayer Map Pack

This pack is an add-on for Halo 2 with a collection of multiplayer maps for gamers who do not have access to Xbox Live. It contains 9 new maps (Containment, Warlock, Turf, Sanctuary, Gemini, Relic, Elongation, Terminal and Backwash), an auto update that brings the game to the latest version, with cheating countermeasures, and all prior Live updates.

Halo 2: Anniversary

Ruby's Rebalanced Halo 2 Campaign

A full, modded Campaign that tweaks the sandbox to make a more gratifying and decision-based game, where every piece of that sandbox has a distinct role. As well as adjusting Legendary difficulty to be less frustrating, but more fair while still challenging.

Halo 2: Project Cartographer

Project Cartographer is a modification for Halo 2 that restores online play and adds additional features that are not present in the base game.

Halo 2 Digsite: Alpha Moon

Cut by late 2003, the Heretic leader escapes the gas mine, and is pursued by the Arbiter on Basis, moon of Threshold and debris site of the first Halo. Journey through a graveyard of remnants from the first ring on a mission blessed by the Noble Prophet of Truth.

This release represents an effort to rebuild content originally designed for a different functioning game engine, the second campaign collaboration between Digsite and Halo Studios.

Halo 2: Bonus Pack

The Bonus Map Pack was the first downloadable content package for Halo 2, released on April 25, 2005 alongside the Killtacular Pack. It added two new maps to Halo 2: Containment and Warlock. The pack was released as a free download sponsored by Mountain Dew, and was required in order to play Halo 2 Matchmaking over Xbox Live before its shutdown in 2010. The map pack was later included in the releases of the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack, Halo 2 PC port and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Halo 2: Killtacular Pack

The Killtacular Pack is the second downloadable content package released for Halo 2. It added two new maps to Halo 2: Sanctuary and Turf. It was released alongside the Bonus Pack on April 25, 2005 for $4.99 and was made permanently free on June 28, 2005.

Upon release, a "deluxe" playlist was created in Halo 2 to allow players to play the Killtacular pack maps, though the download was required in order to play Halo 2 ordinary matchmaking over Xbox Live following the pack becoming free - before the shutdown of Halo 2 matchmaking in 2010. The Killtacular Pack was later included in the releases of the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack, the Halo 2 PC port and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Halo 2: Maptacular Pack

The Maptacular Pack is the third downloadable content package for Halo 2. It added five new maps to Halo 2: Backwash, Elongation, Gemini, Relic, and Terminal. It was initially intended to release alongside the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack on June 28, 2005, before eventually being released for download on July 5, 2005 for $11.99 and was made permanently free on August 30, 2005. Once the pack was made free, this download was required in order to play Halo 2 Matchmaking over Xbox Live. The Maptacular maps were included in the later releases of the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack, the Halo 2 PC port and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The Maptacular Pack was originally the final piece of DLC intended for Halo 2, though a fourth - the Blastacular Pack - was later released in early 2007.

Halo 2: Blastacular Pack

The Blastacular Pack is a downloadable content package for Halo 2. It added two new maps to Halo 2: Desolation and Tombstone. It was released on April 17, 2007 for $4.00, and re-released as an updated package on May 7, 2007, as several glitches discovered in the included content had been fixed. The Blastacular Pack was made permanently free on July 7, 2007. This download was required in order to play Halo 2 Matchmaking over Xbox Live. Both maps in the map pack were created by the video game studio Certain Affinity instead of Bungie.

Due to the pack's release in 2007, it is not included in either the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack or the PC port of Halo 2, making the content now unattainable for the original Halo 2 game. However, it is included in the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Pi Studios was a computer game software developer founded in 2002 by Robert Erwin, John Faulkenbury, Rob Heironimus, Dan Kramer and Peter Mack whose first commercial work can be found in Activision's Call of Duty: United Offensive. The company originated in Plano, Texas and relocated to Houston, Texas in January, 2005. 
 
In November, 2005, Pi Studios released Call of Duty 2: Big Red One for the PlayStation 2, the Xbox, and the GameCube. Work on that project was done jointly with Activision's internal studio, Treyarch. This led to work on Call of Duty 3 in October 2006, developed jointly with Treyarch. Pi's work on the Call of Duty franchise continued with the Call of Duty 3 Bravo Map Pack (downloadable via Xbox Live Arcade) followed by Call of Duty: World at War, in which they assisted Treyarch in creating the single player mission "Blowtorch and Corkscrew". 
 
Pi Studios helped develop the Halo 2 Vista editing toolset and exclusive multiplayer map content, which was included with the game. 
 
Pi Studios also developed Mercenaries 2: World in Flames on PlayStation 2 which was released in the United States on August 31, 2008 and in Europe on September 5, 2008. 
 
Pi Studios is responsible for the PlayStation 2 and Wii versions of Rock Band, which shipped December 18, 2007 and June 22, 2008 respectively. These were developed in conjunction with Harmonix. Pi Studios also worked with Harmonix to produce four Rock Band Track Packs for the Wii and PlayStation 2. The two companies' final collaborative effort was on The Beatles: Rock Band for the (Wii), released in 2009. Bomberman Live: Battlefest for Xbox Live Arcade, released in December 2010. 
 
Pi Studios was developing Bonk: Brink of Extinction for release on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation 3 and Wii but it was cancelled. 
 
In March 2011, it was announced that Pi Studios was closed as former employees have now formed a new development team called Category 6 Studios, which currently has around 15 members including co-founder and industry veteran Kenn Hoekstra.
