LittleBigPlanet 2

LittleBigPlanet 2 is a puzzle platformer video game centered around user-generated content, first announced on May 8th, 2010 in the June 2010 issue of gaming magazine Game Informer. The game was developed by Media Molecule and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for the PlayStation 3 console, and is the last major Little Big Planet game in the series to be produced by Media Molecule, as the sequel, Little Big Planet 3 would be produced by Sumo Digital, Tarsier Studios, and The Station.

Unlike the original LittleBigPlanet which was marketed as a "Platform game", LittleBigPlanet 2 was marketed as a "Platform for Games". The game is 100% backwards compatible with all user-created content (including personal profiles) from the first game. It is a direct sequel to LittleBigPlanet, and the third game in the series. The disc also features Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves, a ModNation Racers demo, as well as a PlayStation Network tutorial video.

LittleBigPlanet: Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves

Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves is a LittleBigPlanet spin-off, which can be played with two to five players and requires a PlayStation Move controller and a PlayStation Eye Camera. One player uses the PlayStation Move motion controller as a pointing device to manipulate the environment by triggering switches and moving platforms, while the others play using a gamepad to control Sackboy in the usual way.

Give full throttle to your imagination and join Sackboy and Sackgirl on the starting grid for a kart racing adventure like no other. Fire up your engines, jump behind the steering wheel and take on your friends and foes in breathtakingly unpredictable battles through an ever-changing world of content. Are you ready?

LittleBigPlanet Karting combines the excitement and fun of a racing game with the ability to create any race you can imagine. Take advantage of simple and powerful creation tools to easily build your own tracks, design unique power-ups or customise your karts. Want to race a boxing glove through a land made of cheese? And then fire pizzas from your kart? You got it. Just watch out for those skull shaped hovercrafts. And flaming snakes. And whatever else is out there...

Battle your friends online via PlayStation Network or in the same room using the split-screen mode, complete challenges or dive into the community to discover new player-created courses. No two tracks are ever the same, so you will never run out of new places to do battle. Race the unexpected and leave the real world in the dust!

LittleBigPlanet 3: The Journey Home

Bunkum is safe! To celebrate this marvelous feat, the grateful curators of the Imagisphere are throwing a huge party back on Craftworld… and everyone’s invited.

But silly bowler hat-wearing inventor Newton has transported the gang to the wrong side of the planet, and they now face a race against time to join in their own celebrations.

LittleBigPlanet 2: Special Edition

Exclusive for North America, a Special Edition of LittleBigPlanet 2 was released on November 15th 2011. This edition includes the standard edition of the game, PlayStation Move support, "Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling" (5 new levels and 7 mini-levels), "Disney/Pixar Toy Story Level" and "Costume" packs, and "Pets Costumes" (the "Dogs", "Cats", and "Even More Animals Costume" packs). The Special Edition was also included as a pack-in game with the 2011 holiday 160GB PS3 system bundles in North America.

LittleBigPlanet 2 Toy Story Level Kit DLC

Toy Story Level Kit is a DLC for LittleBigPlanet 2 which is based on Toy Story. It was later removed from the store for unknown reasons. On 27th August 2014, this pack returned along with the Incredibles Level Kit, which was put back on a week later.

Media Molecule is a British video game developer based in Guildford in Surrey. The studio was founded on 4 January 2006 by former Lionhead Studios employees Mark Healey, Alex Evans, David Smith and Kareem Ettouney.
