It's you against the evil Mother Brain in the thrilling battle of Metroid! You're inside the fortress planet Zebes. The planet of endless secret passageways where the Metroid are multiplying. Left alone the Metroid are harmless. But in the wrong hands they could destroy the galaxy. It's up to you to prevent the Mother Brain that controls Zebes from using the Metroid for evil purposes. But that won't be easy. You'll have to use your spacesuit to absorb valuable energy for your search to gain the use of power items like the Ice Beam, Wave Beam, High Jump Boots and Varia. If you survive, it will be you and your acquired powers against the Mother Brain.

Samus is rescued and revived by Metroid DNA only after undergoing some major changes in her body and suit, resulting in a drastic change in her appearance, and a new ability to absorb and assimilate the abilities of the "X" virus. Experience a new and enthralling chapter in the Metroid series, and relive the timeless gameplay and exploration that made the series a legend.

Metroid Prime

A 3D exploration-focused metroidvania with first-person shooting mechanics and the first 3D entry in the Metroid series, Metroid Prime follows Samus Aran after the events of Metroid (1986) as she boards a Space Pirate frigate, then chases her escaping archrival Ridley into the intricately structured Tallon IV, a planet full of deadly wildlife and former home to the advanced and ancient Chozo race.

Metroid: Zero Mission

The full story of Samus Aran's first mission finally unfolds...

The first Metroid game just scratched the surface of the cataclysmic events on planet Zebes, and at long last the rest of the tale has come to light. Experience the first of Samus's legendary adventures through all-new cut-scenes and action sequences as the bounty hunter races through the deeps toward her showdown with the leader of the Space Pirates. But will the end of Mother Brain really mean the end of the story...?

Completion of the game unlocks an emulated version of the original Metroid game. Zero Mission also allow players to unlock the Metroid Fusion picture gallery by linking between Zero Mission and Fusion cartridges via the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable.

Metroid Prime Pinball

Samus Aran's entry into the bumper-and-flipper world is a sleek, sci-fi classic gaming adventure that has her careening into gigantic boss monsters and bouncing through a variety of exciting pinball tables. Play tables across two screens at the same time using the touch screen to nudge the pinball table. Battle deadly enemies and experience a number of special modes such as Clone Machine Multiball and the Wall-Jump Challenge while you blast and bomb your high score into a state of pure pinball pandemonium.

Metroid Prime Hunters

The famous Metroid series lands on the Nintendo DS with Metroid Prime: Hunters. A once-strong race has gone extinct, leaving powerful artifacts to be found by bounty hunters from across the galaxy. The game features a variety of bounty hunters, both old and new, to the series. It also features multiple competitive game modes--such as deathmatch and king of the hill--for battling wirelessly with up to three other players.

Metroid: Samus Returns

Metroid: Samus Returns is a remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus.
It uses a 3D graphic style with a side view camera that zooms in and changes for cutscenes. It also has new mechanics, items, and abilities.

Metroid II: Return of Samus DX

Metroid II: Return of Samus DX is a rumored Game Boy Color port which was never released.

A screenshot was featured in the German gaming magazine "Club Nintendo" that was claimed to make use of the Game Boy Color's vast color-palette. However, the game never released and its existence has been contested by a testimony from Nintendo of America translator Dan Owsen who was unaware of plans for the port, suggesting that the screenshot featured in the magazine may be a mock-up.

Metroid II DX

Metroid II DX is a mod that converts Metroid II to the Game Boy Color, now colorized. Not to be confused to the official Metroid II: Return of Samus DX, which was never released.

Last time on Samus Goes to the Fridge to Get a Glass of Milk…

She fulfilled Adam’s deed, picking up the milk carton lying in the fridge. However, after gunning down the Omega Metroid, she looked around, finding no exit before the subzero temperatures knocked her out cold (pun somewhat intended). When she woke up, she found herself in her regular power suit, in a different area of the station. While she was all there in one piece, there was one problem–the milk wasn’t! And Samus knew better than to fail Adam’s orders at 3 AM.

This contest hack continues the tale of Samus’s venture to get Adam a glass of milk, this time as a hack of a game few have ever attempted making hacks for. Will Samus get through okay and recover the milk once again? Find out in Samus Goes to the Fridge to Get a Glass of Milk II!

Metroid II: EJRTQ Colorization

A colorization hack for Metroid II: Return of Samus that also includes bug fixes and enhancements. The colorization was done by EJR Tairne with additional programming by Quantam.
