Mega Drive Twin Pads

The Mega Drive Twin Pads is a Mega Drive "console on a chip" originally produced by AtGames for the Asian market with 5 built-in games and distributed in Europe by Blaze Europe with 10 games. One of the two game controllers plugs directly into a television, however it will only output a PAL signal. There is no cartridge slot, so you are limited to the 10 games. Four AA batteries are needed to operate the console.

Arcade Portable

The Arcade Portable is a handheld Sega Mega Drive console on a chip manufactured by AtGames. It was the second handheld to be produced by AtGames, following the Arcade Gamer Portable, and was bettered by the Arcade Ultimate.

Like many of AtGames' products, the true name for this handheld is not known. AtGames' website calls it the Arcade Portable, but the device was renamed by various distributors. Packaging calls it the Mega Drive Portable Video Game Player. The system was manufactured by AtGames who distributed across Asia. Blaze Europe distributed across Europe and Tectoy brought it to Brazil as the Mega Drive Portátil.

Camega

The Camega is a handheld device released by H&B. It is a media player, digital camera and handheld video game console, with 15 built-in Sega Mega Drive games.

Zone Sega

Zone Sega (or Sega Zone) is a plug-in-and-play video game console first released in 2010. The console is built suspiciously like the Wii, having wireless controllers that look similar to television remotes and that respond to movement. It retails at £50 in the UK.

The Zone Sega is built off a similar console called the "Zone 40" (with 40 games) which in turn was built off the "Zone Wireless Gaming Console" (with 7 games). With the Zone Sega there are 50 built in games, 20 of which are Sega Mega Drive titles, 14 are "arcade games" and 16 are "Interactive Sports games" which make use of the motion control technology.

Arcade Master Deluxe

The Arcade Master Deluxe is a console on a chip manufactured by AtGames. It is a console built into an arcade stick, with a directional stick, six face buttons and 26 built-in Sega Mega Drive games. It has no cartridge slot, but can run games via SD cards.

Second version of Mega Drive 4, which adds new games (going from 87 games to 100) and new songs to the game Guitar Idol.

The game Pense Bem is said to count as 10 games in the general counting.

Mega Drive 3

The Mega Drive 3 is a Mega Drive "console on a chip" which was released by Brazilian company Tectoy in 2008. It has 86 built-in games, the majority of them being regular Mega Drive games, with some licensed from Namco and Taito, but also includes four ports of mobile games originally by Electronic Arts, as well as various original games that were also seen on other similar "consoles on a chip", and does not have a cartridge slot for playing other games. It also comes with two control pads which attach to the console via two DE-9 ports, as they would a traditional Mega Drive.

Mega Drive 3: 81 Super Jogos

Mega Drive 3 (2007) is a "console on a chip" Sega Mega Drive distributed exclusively in Brazil by Tec Toy. It was marketed with 81 games, without a cartridge slot.

The Revenge of Shinobi

The Revenge of Shinobi, known as The Super Shinobi in Japan, is the continuation of Shadow Dancer - the arcade sequel to Shinobi. The game was the first Shinobi title developed exclusively for home consoles.

Shadow Dancer is an action platform game developed by Sega for the Sega System 18 arcade system in 1989.

A port of the game was published by Sega for the Sega Master System, and ports to several home computers were published by U.S. Gold. It was the first sequel to Shinobi, alongside The Revenge of Shinobi.

A similar game titled Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi was released for the Sega Mega Drive, which features an entirely different set of stages.

A terrorist group is planting numerous time bombs throughout the city. The player, a ninja master accompanied by a canine partner, sets out on four missions to dismantle the bombs and destroy the criminal syndicate behind these acts.

Shinobi

The five missions in the game are each three or four stages long. Several hostages are being held in each stage; Joe must rescue all of them before he is allowed to finish the stage. The last stage in each mission has no hostages, but instead features a powerful boss character whom Joe must defeat. After completing each of the first four missions the player is taken to a bonus stage, where he can earn an extra life if he is able to kill all of the ninjas leaping towards him. Completing the fifth mission ends the game. Also, once the fifth mission begins, continues are no longer allowed; the player has to finish the game with however many lives he has left at that point. If the player earns a place on the high score board, the number of credits it took him to get that score is displayed along with his score.

Joe's standard weapons are an unlimited supply of shuriken, along with punches and kicks when attacking at close range. One hostage per stage gives him a power-up. When powered-up, his throwing stars are replaced by a gun that fires large, explosive bullets, and his close-range attack becomes a katana slash. Joe can also perform "ninja magic," which may be used only once per stage and kills (or damages, in the case of bosses) all enemies on the screen. The game also allows the enemies to hide behind boxes or use shields to block Musashi's shurikens.[4]

Joe can be killed with one hit, provided he is hit by a projectile or melee attack, but if he does not find himself in those situations, the player can touch regular enemies and just be pushed back without being damaged. Since most enemies appear in the same place on each level, it is possible to master the game by memorizing their locations and devising patterns to defeat them.

At the end of each stage, the player receives score bonuses based on performance. Completing the stage without using ninja magic or without using any throwing stars or bullets earns the player a point bonus. The player has three minutes to complete each stage; remaining time at the end of the stage is also converted to bonus points and added to the player's score.

Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi

Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi, also known as just Shadow Dancer, is a side-scrolling action game produced by SEGA that was originally released for the SEGA Genesis in 1990. It has been re-released via downloading services such as the Wii's Virtual Console and Steam in 2010. It was also included in the Sega Genesis Collection for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable but it was omitted in PAL version (Sega Mega Drive Collection).

It is the second game in the Shinobi series released for the Mega Drive, following The Revenge of Shinobi. However, it is not a continuation of the previous game, but rather a loose adaptation to the 1989 arcade game Shadow Dancer. Like in the original arcade game, the player controls a ninja followed by a canine companion. The Secret of Shinobi was well received by critics.

The Cyber Shinobi

The Cyber Shinobi is the SEGA Master System exclusive sequel to Shinobi. In some context the game has the subtitle Shinobi Part 2. It was the first Shinobi game to not have an Arcade counterpart.

Shinobi is a side-scrolling action game by Sega released for the Game Gear in 1991. It was the first Shinobi game developed specifically for a portable game platform.

Shinobi II: The Silent Fury is a SEGA Game Gear exclusive sequel in the Shinobi series, following up on the original Game Gear Shinobi.

The compilation features 48 Sega games (49 counting two versions of Altered Beast) which were previously released for the Mega Drive/Genesis (including most of the Sonic the Hedgehog titles released for the system), arcade and Sega Master System. It is similar to the Sega Genesis Collection released previously for the PlayStation 2 and PSP, however it contains 16 (in NTSC regions) more games (including unlockable extras).
